Your Pet
As an artist specialising in pet portraits, I bring a unique and heartfelt approach to every piece I create. My work focuses intensely on the eyes, where so much of the spirit, personality and life experience of your pet is reflected. Each portrait is a labour of love, blending technical skill with an understanding of your pet’s character, resulting in vibrant, expressive images.
Every pet portrait begins with the bond you share. People often tell me about the quiet comfort, trust, and companionship their animals bring into their lives. I work slowly and thoughtfully, My goal is to capture not just a physical likeness, but the feeling of connection that makes your pet uniquely yours.
All portraits are hand drawn using professional materials. I work with Faber-Castell Polychromos and Caran D’Ache Luminance coloured pencils for their exceptional quality and permanence. Their high lightfastness ensures colours remain vibrant and will protect your artwork from fading over time.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Your pet holds a unique place in your heart - their portrait should hold the same place in your home. Using meticulous layering techniques and only the finest quality archival materials, I create your pet portrait to ensure it will last a lifetime.

Take a great photo
Most pet owners have endless photos of their pets but not many are suitable for artwork submission. I can’t stress enough how important it is for me to be able to see the eyes clearly. A good clear head shot, taken in natural daylight is best, with your pet looking straight ahead or slightly up. If you’re unsure, you can send in more than one photo and I can work from that.
Tell me a bit about your Pet
I want to get to know your pet before I start to draw him or her – are they cheeky, sassy, wise – let me know so that I can try to capture that feeling.
Payment and Next Steps
I will communicate to you and let you know how long it will take to complete your portrait. Once we agree the timeline I will ask for a 50% deposit, payable via paypal.
Updates
I will send you regular updates to make sure you are happy with the progress. You know your pet better than anyone, and this is the time to make minor changes if you wish.

Once the portrait is complete, I will ask for the balance before sending it to you by recorded delivery.
